Author DL Finn has a special way of storytelling that makes the outrageous believable. Is Bigfoot a legend or reality? The experiences of Elly and Bob leave their friends wondering what happened. The peeling back of the layers of a legend which has persisted for decades makes this a fast-paced enjoyable story.

The storyteller of the story is a man who is aware of a lake poisoning for possible purposes of eliminating a species. The facts are revealed in pieces that engages the reader to keep the pages turning. I love the segment below told by the narrator point of view in the story.

”If I believed everything I was reading, I’d be alarmed. There were enough bits of truth woven into this tale, however, to cause me to at least wonder. My biggest question was, where were Bob and Elly? Why couldn’t I find their new address or get them to respond to me? The hairs on my arms stood on end. Great, now this nut job’s got me going. This is just a silly story. I chuckled, remembering Elly’s standing joke. β€œSanity was for crazy people.” Bob’s response would always be to shake his head.  “

Author Finn delivers a fantastic story. The reader will enjoy the combination of science fiction, fantasy, and even occult. I’ve read many of her books and have yet to be disappointed. I hardily recommend this for fans of DL Finn or those who want a delicious sample of her literary skills.

About the Author
